The Bed&Breakfast boat floats in one of the wider canals of Amsterdam which are being used to flush the canals on a daily basis. It has neighbouring boats on one side and none opposite, creating a nice and quiet oasis in town. Beautiful birds, ducks and swans will keep you company.

The Boat is located in the eastern part of town, quite close to the Artis Zoo, the Tropical Museum and the famous ‘ Dapper’ market. It only takes you ten minutes on bike or by tram to get to the monumental heart of town. Damsquare, the Jordaan area, the Rijks- and van Goghmuseum, they’re all in pedaling distance!

But the east side itself is quite cool and upcoming. With lots of shops, parks, modern architecture and sport facilities. Click here to get an overview of great things to do around the Bed  Breakfast Boat

The best ways to travel in the city are on bike or on tram/bus.

You can rent bikes at the Bed Breakfast Boat (€ 5 per bike per day). You can also rent bikes at MacBike (Central Station and other locations in the city).

The tramstop is right across from  the Bed Breakfast Boat. Tram 14 will get you straight to Waterlooplein and Dam square is just 10 minutes.
